Will it never end. Well you are not going to believe this, but the couch I ordered at the end of November is still a mystery... or maybe not.
It turns out that the manufacturer apologizes for the postponement, because even though I was promised the couch, you know the one I bought my mom for Christmas, (and should have been delivered), would now be in by the 10th of Jan., but of course it wasn't, and now it will be in at the end of this month, that will make it 8 weeks for one couch....
I'm trying to remain cool, and calm about this whole situation. But then again, I'm human, and not a robot, so of course I'm going to re-act..... STRESS, STESS and more STRESS!! But I took a deep breath, and made one suggestion, how about free delivery?? which doesn't sound unreasonable to me, given the circumstances, even the salesperson agreed.....I've been more then patient.....
But if the couch is not in by the end of the month, then you will surely see fireworks... it's on to better business bureau, consumer affairs and a letter to the head of the company, all things I'm trying to avoid because I really want to settle this peacefully and rationally...
So until the end of January, I will put this little saga away, at least for a few weeks...or you can be assure I will not remain FOREVER YOUNG, because this couch is certainly aging me fast, not that I'm not aging quickly on my own....lol..
